Halloween Cruises for 2018

Have you ever considered going on a cruise over Halloween? With Halloween coming up, I’ve compiled a list of themed cruises that are sure to make your cruise spooktacular!

Halloween on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line

You know that Disney will do Halloween well! ThroughoutDisney’s cruise there will be pumpkin carving, ghostly story-telling and adult-only costume parties.  The ships will also feature an evolving Halloween tree that eerily transforms throughout your cruise.

Princess Cruises celebrates Halloween with spooky decor, a Halloween Fright Night Party for adults as well as scavenger hunts, candy kits and specialty movies.  Princess does not organise special Halloween-themed cruises but to see cruises that sail over Halloween in 2018, check here.

Frightful Fun with Carnival

Carnival Cruises generally celebrates Halloween throughout the whole of October but it’s best to check with the cruise line for specific sailings here. The cruise line invites guest to enjoy themed drinks and desserts that will send shivers down your spine. Expect lots of special activities and events so bring a costume but Carnival respectfully requests that no masks or weapons are used as part of the your costumes!

Happy On Board Halloween with Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean promises guests will have a gruesome good time on board all ships in the fleet sailing over Halloween. There are no special themed cruises but if you choose to cruise at the end of October expect zombies, a haunted mansion and competitions like “howl at the moon” and “girl scream”.  To find the spookiest cruises, visit Royal Caribbean’s website.

Walker Stalker Cruise 2018

Although this is not technically a ‘Halloween’ cruise, I thought it was worth mentioning the Walker Stalker Cruise taking place in January 2018 for fans of The Walking Dead.  This zombie-themed cruise on the Norwegian Pearl will play host to actors from the hit TV series during the four day cruise from New Orleans to Cozumel.  You will have to be quick to book this cruise as there are only 30 cabins left for 2018 (as of October, 2017).

Have you been bitten by the Halloween cruise bug (or vampire?!) I’d love to hear from you if you’ve experience festivities on board. What was it like? Did you dress up?

Happy Cruising!
