Princess Cruises Reveals News About Enchanted Princess

There has been some exciting news coming from Princess Cruises over the past few weeks, firstly with the #Princess2020 launch giving us 6 Cool Things About Princess Cruises in 2020 and now we have announcements about the onboard features of Enchanted Princess (due to be christened in Southampton, June 2020).

After its naming ceremony, Enchanted Princess will head to the Mediterranean for summer 2020, sailing between seven and 22 days from popular destinations such as Barcelona, Athens and Rome (going on sale on 8th November 2018, 5pm).

Sky Suite Balcony View

Sky Suites – the sky’s the limit

Sky Suites will be centrally-located on the top deck of the ship, offering 270-degree panoramic views for the guests.  Enchanted Princess will have two of these suites (also planned for Sky Princess), which will provide a private viewing point for Movies Under the Stars.  These suites will be able to accommodate up to five guests so would suit a family or group of friends.

Fresh Pasta in Sabbatini’s

Sabatinis_EN_2Sabbatini’s specialty dining restaurant will receive a new design and excitingly, there will be fresh handmade pasta dishes available to passengers on a daily basis.  Princess may be indeed cornering the marketing in Italian cuisine at sea as its Alfredo’s Pizzeria serves excellent pizza and has won many accolades including ‘Best Pizza at Sea’.

Wake View

On Enchanted Princess, Princess Cruises has confirmed that there will be a wake view pool on its rear decks so that passengers can take in the mesmerising wake view whilst chilling in one of the pools.

A Perfect Sanctuary

The adult-only Sanctuary will be designed for complete tranquility and relaxation.  The Sanctuary on Enchanted Princess will have even more private cabanas available for guest to rent for the day.

Deck Plans Revealed

In summary

It will be interesting to see what other features the new Enchanted Princess will have for passengers.  It is likely to be very similar to its sister ship, Sky Princess, which is due to be launched in autumn 2019.  I like the detail given to the food venues and think that the wake view pool will be a popular area during the day.

Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK and Europe, said: “With the launch of Enchanted Princess in Southampton and our continued commitment to enhancing the range of features onboard our growing fleet, this is an exciting time for Princess Cruises as we constantly strive to appeal to passengers looking for something new and exciting, both in terms of onboard offerings and destinations.

The suites will provide a private vantage of the ships’ top deck Movies Under the Stars cinema screen, offer 270-degree panorama views and sleep up to five guests. They will feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dining area with skylight.
