Azamara Cruises Laundry Options
The good thing about Azamara is that you have two options for laundry onboard:
- Professional laundry services (convenient and quick, prices apply)
- Guest laundry room located on Deck 7 (complimentary)
Both laundry options are available to use as soon as you step onboard. This is particularly handy if you have clothes that need to be pressed after travelling in your suitcase.
Guest Laundry on Azamara Cruises
The guest laundry is open daily from 8.00am to 9.00pm and there’s no extra charge to use it. This facility is included in your cruise fare for all guests to access.
As all Azamara ships are almost identical, you’ll find the laundry room opposite staterooms 7076 and 7078 port side.

Inside, you’ll find washing machines, dryers, ironing stations and a sink for washing clothes by hand. It’s a compact space but definitely a quick and easy way to clean your clothes during your cruise.
A wash cycle is 35 to 50 minutes long depending on the type of cycle you choose. Remember, the laundry room can get busy so it’s polite to return when your cycle is about to finish so that others can use the machine.
The control panel for the washing machines allows you to select the cycle and temperature you want. On the dryer panel you can choose the type of fabric and the drying time.

Do you need to bring your own detergent?
Washing capsules are available to use and can be found in a bin within the laundry room. You only need one All Mighty Pac per load unless your clothes are really dirty, in which case you should use two pacs.
These are hypoallergenic and should be put directly in the washing drum with your clothes.

Ironing stations
There are irons for your convenience, you simply turn the iron on with a switch on the wall. For safety reasons, the irons on a 10-minute timer. So if it goes off whilst you’re ironing, simply press the button again to turn it back on. This is a perfect option if you need to give your clothes a quick press.

A guest laundry isn’t available on all cruise lines so we think it’s a fantastic inclusion for guests on Azamara ships. We have cruised on various cruise lines with and without self-service laundry rooms. You can take a look at our other cruise laundry guides here:
Professional Laundry Services
If laundry is the last thing you want to be doing on your Azamara cruise, you’ll be pleased to know that you can send clothes to the professional laundry onboard the cruise ship.
In your stateroom, you’ll find an Azamara Cruises laundry bag and order sheet you can complete and leave for your room attendant.

Azamara Cruises can’t be responsible for shrinkage, wear and tear through pressing, fastness of colours, zippers, buttons or jewels on your garments.
Remember to remove anything from pockets before sending to the laundry!

Good information and I have only cruised on P&O where a laundry room for guests is always available. I didn’t know that other cruise lines don’t always provide this. Thank you

Yes, it’s a really handy facility. Azamara ship are small so there’s only one laundry room onboard but it’s still a good option. First thing in the morning was the quietest time.
