Margaritaville: Grand Cayman

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville has over 30 locations around the world and so far I have only visited two: Hollywood Beach, Florida and Grand Cayman.

After our shore excursion of swimming with stingrays, we stopped off at Margaritaville in George Town, Grand Cayman, for a bite to eat and drink before heading back to our cruise ship.

It was quite noisy inside so we chose a window seat overlooking the cruise port.  We could people-watch as the tender boats came in and out.

This Margaritaville had a water slide, roof top pool, nightclub, swim up bar, pool-side cabanas, live entertainment and a shop although we only used the restaurant on our visit.  What it did have was free WiFi, which was very handy to check-in with family at home.  All around the shopping complex next to Margaritaville there was free WiFi so it was packed with cruise ship passengers on their phones.

Our visit to Margaritaville in George Town was brief but enjoyable.  The food was delicious and I would recommend trying to get a table with a view over the cruise port to sit and watch people go by.

Happy cruising and remember, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
