The Caribbean Princess is currently undergoing a $8.2 million makeover.  Here is a look at what to expect after its dramatic transformation.

1. Sweet dreams with the Luxury Princess Bed

2. Enhanced Movies Under the Stars

Without getting too technical, a new screen is being installed that will double the picture definition, optimize brightness to alter according to day or night, 160-degree Extreme Wide Angle Viewing and an improved sound system to enhance the experience of watching movie blockbusters under the stars.muts-1-1600

3. World Fresh Marketplace

4. Get in The Mix

5. Chow down at the Salty Dog

6. New American BBQ option

Planks BB will serve a variety of BBQ meats, chilli, coleslaw and seasoned fries on ‘planks’ for a cover charge of $12 per person.  Here you can also enjoy buffet-style breakfasts and lunches at no extra charge.planks-bbq-5-768

7. Things are getting steamy

If you love Princess’ Crab Shack, then Steamers is a must.  Think heaped bowls of seafood like mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, crab and lobster that will be sure to tempt your taste buds. 8. Ocean Medallion Class

This innovation in cruise technology doesn’t appear on the Caribbean Princess until March 2018 but it will be sure to enhance your cruising experience when introduced.  It comes as a quarter-size disc that you can wear as a wristband, pendant, clip or simply placed in your pocket.  It will open your stateroom, upload your documentation, set your cruise preferences and help you to locate members of your party.ocean-medallion-640x420
