P&O Cruises Room Service Menu & Guide

Fancy a lazy breakfast on your balcony? Need a quick snack in the afternoon? This guide to the P&O Cruises room service menu, gives you the important information you need to take advantage of this service on your next cruise.

When is room service available on P&O Cruises?

P&O Cruises offers room service 24 hours of the day! There are three room service menus available for different times of the day:

  • Breakfast 7am – 11am
  • Day time 11am – 11pm
  • Night time 11pm – 7am

Be aware that room service is available up until 2am on the morning of your disembarkation.

Is room service free on P&O Cruises?

Room service is free for the breakfast menu from 7am to 11am. After that, room service is charged per item. Keep reading to find the prices per item for the Daytime and Nighttime menus.

There is a loophole for suite guests, who can order free room service and items from the main dining room during lunch and dinner but it must be ordered through the suite’s butler. If a suite guests orders via room service, charges will apply.

How do you order room service on P&O Cruises?

Breakfast can be ordered by filling out the order card in your cabin the night before. You just need to hang it on your door before you go to bed.

To order room service between 11am and 7am, you can use the telephone in your cabin.

P&O Cruises Complimentary Room Service Breakfast

The P&O Cruises Room Service Breakfast Menu offers: juices, yoghurts, cereals, fruit, compotes, pastries, toast and a sausage, bacon and tomato panini. All are complimentary.

In my opinion, this is a very good selection of continental breakfast options.

If you are looking for a cooked breakfast, you are still best off going to the buffet or main dining room for breakfast unless you are staying in a suite. Suite guests can choose to order a cooked breakfast via room service.

I’d recommend ordering room service breakfast early on a port day if you are planning to get off the ship shortly after docking. Perhaps you’d also like to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on your balcony on a sea day.

If you decide to treat yourself and order a Champagne Breakfast, there is a charge of around £25.

P&O Cruises Room Service Menu with Prices

The Daytime Bites Menu can be ordered from 11am to 11pm and has a good selection of items.

Prices range from £1.00 to £10.00. This represents excellent value considering it is being delivered to your cabin, but remember, you can always choose to visit the buffet and ‘take-away’ a plate and this is complimentary.

Evening Room Service Menu

The Night Time Nibbles menu (details above) has a condensed list of items available but there is still a choice of sandwiches, meals and desserts. Prices range from £1.25 (Greek salad) to £4.75 (large plates including P&O Cruises Double Decker Cheese Burger).

We have sometimes opted to order room service on longer cruises, if there’s a night we don’t fancy a big meal or are tired from a long day in port.

What drinks are available to order via room service?

On P&O Cruises, you can also order alcoholic and soft drinks by telephoning room service. For a comprehensive guide to the drinks prices onboard, I’d recommend taking a look at my complete guide to P&O Cruises drinks.

There is a reduced menu for room service but it’s still a decent range of options to pick from.

The drinks on the room service menu are served by the can or bottle so is suitable if you fancy a drink on your balcony before or after dinner.

The in-cabin fridge means you can keep wine chilled if you don’t drink the whole bottle in one sitting.

If you have any of the drinks packages, bear in mind that drinks ordered via room service are not included.
