The Goods Spirits Bar on Princess Cruises offers exotic cocktails inspired by cruise destination around the world. We take a closer look at the Good Spirits Bar Menu and share our recommendations.
What is the Good Spirits Bar?
The Good Spirits Bar offers a range of cocktails inspired by the Good Spirits TV series (available to watch here). Each cocktail on the menu is inspired by a different destination so you can sip your way around the world!
The cocktails are not ones you will have heard of before, these have been created exclusively for Princess Cruises by expert mixologist, Rob Floyd. The cocktails use ingredients from the different destinations to bring different flavours you may never have tasted before.

Good Spirits Cocktails to Avoid
One cocktail we wouldn’t recommend from the Good Spirits Bar is the Coco-Cafe. The description sounds very tasty with coffee and chocolate flavours but the coconut cream curdled, making it lumpy!
If you’re not a huge fan of liquorice, you might want to avoid ordering the Pastis Pearl. Pastis is a drink from Marseille, which is made with star anise.
One other cocktail to be aware of is the Starry Night in Olso. It contains Aquavit, which can be an acquired taste. Aquavit is made with caraway, fennel, and anise seeds, which can make it quite strong and spicy.
Good Spirits Cocktails we Recommend
There are some cocktails that us and many other cruisers would recommend trying. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not try them all?!
Vanilla Sky is sweet but a very popular drink. Just be aware that orgeat syrup is made from almonds so would not be suitable for people with some nut allergies.
We tried the Grappa Peach, which was nice but quite strong as it contains Grappa.
Sandia en Fuego is a hot and spicy cocktail, with watermelon to balance it out. It’s one of the most popular cocktails at the Good Spirits Bar.
The Butterfly cocktail isn’t from a particular destination but is a ‘magic’ colour-changing cocktail. It contains Butterfly pea flower which reacts when lemon juice is added. We’d recommend ordering it at least once to see it for yourself.
Good Spirits Bar Challenge
When you order a cocktail from the Good Spirits Bar menu, you can collect a coaster card with details of the drink. Some people have fun collecting the set!
On some Princess cruise ships, there’s been a special t-shirt that can be ‘earned’ once you have tried 11 of the cocktails from the menu. It seems that this may not be available all of the time and depends whether the cruise ship has a supply of t-shirts for your cruise. It seems the t-shirts go very fast!
